18.6 Playa Bets reserves the right to limit local and international Horse Racing tote bets to the pool limit for any race or event where the net pool is below the above tote limits. The maximum winnings in respect thereof will be limited to THE TOTAL NET POOL LIMIT of the local SAFTOTE pool. For example: if the total available pool on a Swinger is R3000, then this is the maximum payout that may be distributed to a customer who has selected the winning combination/s for the bet type in question.
18.7 Horse Racing payouts will be limited to the lesser of the above bet type limits or odds limit. For example: If Playa Bets lays a Pick 6 that pays R800,000 to a R1 unit and a customer catches it once (100%), the R750,000 bet type limit will apply and the dividend paid will be R750,000. If Playa Bets lays a bet totaling 25% of a Pick 6 that pays R800,000 to a R1 unit, the R750,000/1 odds limit will apply with the payout being 25% of R750 000 and the dividend paid will total R187,500.
18.8 Any Horse Racing bet to win over R5000 on a first timer or any other bet to win over R10000 needs to be authorized by the Head Trader on 0873546333 extension 0. More is available on request and must be authorized by the Head Trader on 0873546333 extension 0 to be valid.
18.9 Should there be no winners on any pool on the totalisator (a full carryover) but winners at Playa Bets, Playa Bets will pay a dividend determined by dividing the totalisator pool by the number of Playa Bets winners. Playa Bets's limit rules apply and dividends and pay-outs will be subject to bet type limits.
18.10 Where a partial carryover is declared by the totalisator on an open bet, Playa Bets shall pay the declared dividend with the liability being limited to the value of the pool paid out and NOT the value of the total pool. For example: if a commingled Trifecta pool is R10 000 on an English event and a dividend of R700 is declared to 6 winners locally (total payout R4200) and a carryover of R5800 is declared, then Playa Bets's maximum liability to any customer shall be limited to the value of the pay-out of R4200.
18.11 All international racing if there are no tote winners on any pool, Playa Bets will payout a maximum of R10 000 of the carryover pool.
19.1 Any tax payable will be deducted automatically from customers winning prior to such winnings being credited to the customers current account balance. Playa Bets is obliged by law to deduct such betting tax at settlement and pay it to the relevant South African authorities on your behalf. The current rates of tax for bets in Mpumalanga, KZN and in the Western Cape (subject to change without prior notification) are as follows: 0% tax on all sports bets, including multiples made up solely of sports bets; 0% tax on winning tote bets on horseracing (Playa subsidizes 6% for customer), 6% (six percent) tax on winnings of any fixed odds horseracing bets (including multiples of horseracing bets); 6% tax on winnings of any multiple which includes a horseracing bet as part of the multiple.
20.1 All winning bets will be settled at the prices shown on Playa Bets at the time the bet was accepted. Where a selection is made void, single bet stakes will be returned. Bets on selections that do not occur for whatever reason may or may not be returned depending on the rules for the individual sport or event. In accumulative bets the stake will run on to the remaining selections with a double becoming a single, a treble becoming a double and so on.
20.2 In a dead heat, the stake money on a selection is divided by the number of runners involved in the dead heat. The full odds are then paid to the divided stake, with the remainder of the money lost.
20.3 The official result is final for settlement purposes except where specific rules state the contrary. Subsequent changes in results that occur in the future, whether due to disciplinary hearings or otherwise, are disregarded. In the event of a governing body changing the result due to disqualification after bets have been settled, then the result stands on the original result when settlement occurred (disqualification from a tournament or failed drug testing in the following days or weeks for example). Where in the reasonable judgment of Playa Bets no official result is available, the result will be determined by an independent authority of Playa Bets's choosing whose verdict shall be final for all purposes, or otherwise determined in the reasonable opinion of Playa Bets with such opinion to be formed by reference to all reasonably available evidence.
20.4 Bets will provisionally be settled by reference to all available evidence, but if the result which is determined as set out above differs from the result used for provisional settlement, settlement may be retrospectively adjusted so as to reflect the result so determined.
20.5 Final settlement of bets will occur when Playa Bets considers that the final result and settlement has been completed satisfactorily with reference to all available evidence. In the event that an incorrect result has been posted, Playa Bets reserves the right to correct results where they have been incorrectly processed and paid. Customer accounts which have been incorrectly credited with incorrect winnings as a result will be adjusted to reflect the corrected position. If customers are incorrectly paid in cash with incorrect winnings, then the incorrect winnings will be deducted from customers' Playa Bets account. Account holders hereby authorize Playa Bets to make the necessary corrections and also waive all and any claim which they may have against Playa Bets for payment of any amount incorrectly credited to their accounts or incorrectly paid to them in cash.
21.1 If you the customer has lost or misplaced your ticket, you will need to report the lost ticket within 48 hours of your last winning event. Any tickets reported after 48 hours will not be deemed as lost.
21.2 You will need to fill out a lost ticket form to have any claim or right to a lost ticket. The lost ticket form will serve as your new claim to your bet.
21.3 Payouts on lost tickets are done 30 days after the completion of the lost ticket form.
21.4 Should an alternate customer present the “lost ticket” in question, then the customer physically presenting the ticket will have claim to the payout. In this event, the customer with the “Lost Ticket” will have the opportunity to challenge the customer presenting the physical ticket. If your challenge is accepted by the alternate customer presenting the ticket, only then will you be paid on your lost ticket.
22.1 No related bets, (where the outcome of one part of the bet contributes or determines another part of the bet), will be accepted. Selections may be related if a multiple bet: (1) combines selections on the same event where one outcome may affect another, (2) combines selections that are resolved at different times but still within the same tournament, (3) combines selections within different events where the outcome of one affects the other.
For example: (1) In a soccer match involving Manchester United, a related bet may be one in which a customer selects the correct score to be 1-0 to Manchester United combined with the match result of Manchester United to win. A double with these two selections is considered related as the correct score outcome affects the match outcome. (2) In the World Cup Soccer tournament two selections may be for South Africa to win the semi−final and for South Africa to win the World Cup tournament outright. As the odds of the second selection depends on the outcome of the first, the odds of South Africa winning the tournament at the time the bet was accepted cannot be used to calculate the double odds. The correct odds after the initial selection is completed will be attributed instead. (3) Two horse racing selections may be Jackson to win the Daily News 2000 and Jackson to win the Durban July. If Jackson were to win the Daily News 2000, the odds for Jackson to win the Durban July at the time the bet was accepted cannot be used to calculate the double odds. A special price to win both races may be quoted instead.
22.2 If a related bet is accepted, the stake of the single bet will be divided and applied and paid equally over the respective events in the bet. Playa Bets, in its sole discretion shall determine if a bet is a related bet, with Playa Bets's final decision being final and binding. Playa Bets may on occasions offer special prices for combined events and should you have a special request, please contact support by email [email protected]
23.1 A Dead Heat occurs where two or more participants in an event tie for first place, second place, third place and so on. In the event of two or more selections having a dead heat, the customer's stake is divided by the number of winning selections with full odds paid on the reduced stake. With more than two selections, the stake is split proportionately. In winning multiple bets where two separate events result in dead heats, the punter shall win the odds to one quarter of the stake and lose the other three quarters, and so on for further dead heats.
24.1 Ante post bets are those placed at prices on named selections taking part in an event before it has started. Bets are accepted 'all in, run or not, entered or not', which means that should your selection fail to take part in an event, the bet is a loser unless Playa Bets rules for an individual sport specifically state otherwise.
25.1 All bets selected with pre−match prices taken from Playa Bets will be accepted up until the start time displayed on the website or the start time in the Betting Shop software system. All times on the website and Betting Shop software are according to local South African time. If a bet is accepted which includes a match that has already started and we are not offering prices “In Running”/”Live”/In-Play” then that selection will be void. If we are offering prices “In Running”/”Live”/In-Play” on the match, the selection will be accepted at the current price quoted.
26.1 “In Running”/”Live”/In-Play” refers to bets that are placed while an event is in progress. The odds will be continuously updated during the event to reflect the current status of the game/event. Live betting is only available on certain sports. Playa Bets makes every attempt to establish a fair assessment of events that transpire during a live match on a good faith basis with reference to the TV broadcaster's coverage.
26.2 “In Running”/”Live”/In-Play” betting odds may be subject to a time delay prior to acceptance. If a price of a bet changes after it is requested but before the bet is accepted, the bet will be re-offered at the new price. A further time delay will apply if a new price is subsequently requested. If the bet is suspended after the price is requested, but prior to acceptance of the bet, the transaction will be declined due to circumstance changes in the event. Playa Bets is by no means responsible for connection speeds, internet faults, or any other influences which may delay the acceptance of a bet. Additionally, Playa Bets reserves the right to suspend (and re-open) “In Running”/”Live”/In-Play” betting during the event concerned. No such bets will be accepted when the betting is suspended.
26.3 If a situation arises where it is not possible to categorically state what has happened in an event, Playa Bets reserve the right to withhold settlement pending further investigation or to void bets. Such situations include but are not limited to: The TV broadcaster's coverage is interrupted or fails to start on time; there is a technical failure in the odds creation facilities available to Playa Bets's odds makers, or the failure of hardware, software or a combination of both.
26.4 If there is no further activity in an event following the acceptance of a Live bet, these bets will be made void, unless specific sports rules state otherwise.
26.5 If it transpires that the TV broadcaster misses one or more events during a match or Playa Bets settles a bet incorrectly, we reserve the right to make both positive and negative adjustments to accounts and bets.
26.6 Playa Bets relies on the decisions of the officials acting during the course of the game, match or tournament and these decisions shall be final regardless of whether they are subsequently overturned by appeal or otherwise following the event.
26.7 All scoring information and streaming of TV pictures on the site or on Betting Shop televisions is for display purposes only and is not used as a basis for settlement. Playa Bets accepts no responsibility for the correctness and timeliness of this information and only settles bets according to the official scores, actions and timings of the event.
26.8 In the event that a blatant or palpable error is made in transmission on any event on which there is “In Running”/”Live”/In-Play” betting, bets will be settled at the correct price at the time at which the bet/s was placed. If Playa Bets has reason to believe that a bet was placed after the outcome of an event is known, we reserve the right to void the bet.
27.1 All special events on which bets are offered by Playa Bets shall be deemed to be sporting events even if they fall outside the scope of sport. All sporting terms and conditions shall apply to special events.
28.1 Playa Bets treats customer bets and winnings as confidential and will not disclose any information in connection with your transactions to a third party unless it is obliged by law to do so.
28.2 Playa Bets's customer details are stored in an encrypted database and are additionally protected by firewalls. All payment methods hold level 1 certified security from the Payment Care Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). All payment transactions are conducted using SSL encryption.

32.1 Customers bonus money stakes are strictly NOT included in any returns or payouts.
32.2 Bonus account money cannot be exchanged for real account money. Once a customer uses their bonus money, the stake value of the bonus money is removed from their bonus account, and if the bet is a winning bet, only the profit of the bet will be added to your betting account. For Example: A customer uses R500 bonus credit to bet on Manchester United to beat Arsenal at odds of 2/1. If Manchester United wins the match, R1000 will be added to your real money betting account and the R500 stake bonus money will be deemed to be “used” and reduced to R0.
32.3 Bonus money is used strictly as a “Free Bet” and does not hold monetary value.
32.4 No withdrawals will be processed if a client has only wagered bonus funds and not real deposited funds. In cases where free bonus credit has been given to customers or a FICA bonus, the customer will have to wager the stipulated amount (as per the promotions T&C's) in deposited funds and bonus funds at odds stipulated or higher to make a withdrawal.
32.5 To receive bonus money, your bonus balance on your account must be on 0. If you have a positive bonus balance, then you will not be credited with a new bonus. Players can only have one active bonus at any one time. You cannot claim multiple bonuses/promotions on a single deposit. Players cannot claim any promotions if their deposits are made using vouchers.
32.6. If you do not claim the bonus within 90 days of the first qualifying bet, any claim to bonus funds will be forfeited.

In addition, Playa reserves the right to levy an administration charge on the customer up to the value of the deposit bonus, free bet or additional payment to cover administrative costs.
